Virgin Mary: Visitation — A nimbed Virgin Mary and a nimbed Elizabeth, who is wearing a wimpled veil, embrace. Above in a starry sky, rays emerge from the sun(?). The scene is set in a landscape with trees, bushes, and rocky outcrops. A city, buildings, and a stream with a swan are in the background.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament inhabited by an owl and two rabbits. In the lower margin is an overpainted, unidentified heraldic shield (quarterly, or and gules).
