Christ: In Gethsemane — Christ, with a rayed nimbus, kneels with His joined hands extended in front of a rocky outcrop above which is a chalice and above that a host (wafer) in a mandorla. In the foreground three apostles, all nimbed, are asleep sitting on the ground resting their heads on their right hands. A city and a group of people, possibly soldiers, are in the background.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament, including a strawberry. A monogram of the initials A and P linked by a love knot is in the lower margin. Text, Hours of the Virgin.
