Approximately 45 items associated with William Blake and John Linnell, including 44 drawings on tracing paper, possibly attributable to Linnell after designs by Blake.
Forty-one tracings on tracing paper, mounted, along with other miscellaneous drawings and one woodcut, into an album which is inscribed on the inside front cover, in graphite, "Tracings / from Blake books"; and in another hand, "Tracings by Blake's friend, Linnell / of 'The Marriage of Heaven and Hell' / 27 sheets"; included are 29 tracings of designs by Blake for "The marriage of Heaven and Hell"; 10 tracings of his designs for "Paradise regained"; and 3 for Blake's "Songs of experience".
Album acquired with 25 assorted loose pieces of Blakeiana (see 1980.79:1-24 and 26), including drawings, engravings, and additional traced copies of designs by Blake; these individual items cataloged separately.
