Second state of "Stand forth, thou slanderer!-- vide Mr. Denman's speech. Oct'r 25, 1820." Along with the change of title and removal of subtitle, alterations include the removal of a piece of paper under the Duke's foot that reads "Honor thy father and mother". According to George, publisher Humphrey was paid £50 to make the alteration, which was done by Isaac Robert Cruikshank after George Cruikshank's indignant refusal.
Date in publisher's statement has been altered with ink to read "July 1st, 1830".

The Duke of Clarence, knock-kneed and meanly malignant, stands in profile to the left, his back to the sea. He wears top-hat, tail-coat, tight pantaloons, Hessian boots, and gloves, holding a cane. At sea is a man-of-war with furled sails flying the Royal Standard. At left a signpost points "To Bushey Park".
