Humphreys standing on the left, one fist raised, the other around the shoulders of his opponent who grasps him around the body and falls back against his knee, looking upwards weakly, with Butcher holding a water bottle and Johnson standing second on the left, Ward second to Humphreys and Jackson holding a bottle, while the umpires Duke of Hamilton, Arston and Sir Thomas Apreece stand with watches on the right and a crowd of spectators watch below.
