A humorous print showing an historical scene of a widowed woman in a court of law performing a traditional penance for fornication: the woman is shown riding backwards on the back of a black ram, with one hand on its tail and another on one of its horns, as she turns to smile at the magistrates who smile broadly at the spectacle.
