Print shows the interior of Westminster Hall, as it appeared during the trial of Elizabeth Chudleigh, Duchess of Kingston, who was tried on charges of bigamy in 1776; the Duchess stands in foreground with her back to the viewer, facing the Lord High Steward, the clerks, the royal box at far end, and the many people seated around edge of hall.
