Summary:
Oval design shows six men, intended to represent members of a country book club, seated around a table at an inn, talking and smoking as a young woman hands one of them a tankard; placards on the walls behind them read, "Rules of this club 1788", "The Garland all ye that come", "Glenville on witches", and "Liberty of the Press".
