Proof of a wood engraving on india paper after an illustration by Doyle, probably created for publication in an unidentified issue of Punch or Punch's pocket book.
Affixed to paper backing.
Summary:
Illustration shows an audience at the theater, with rows of ladies and gentlemen training their glasses on a row of turbaned men seated in the balcony; a program in front of one of the men reads "Otello," and the word "Amusements is engraved within the illustration, with the figure of a ballerina at left.
