Summary:

Print shows a dandy, much burlesqued, his head bird-like in profile and his hair is brushed up at the back behind his hat to resemble the tail-feathers of a cock. He wears puffed-out breeches and top-boots with enormous spurs, and holds an umbrella. A narrow coat-tail hangs between his stick-like legs. His thin arms in tight sleeves project awkwardly, and he wears short yellow (chicken-skin) gloves; a broad patterned strip hangs from his fob, with seals and watch-key. A sign-post among shrubs points 'To Chalk Farm' [Hampstead].
