One of seven plates on the French Expedition to Egypt by Gillray, purported to have been drawn by a fellow expedition member.

Summary: 

Print shows rows of French soldiers doing infantry drill with muskets seated on the backs of asses, with no harness but rope halters. Their officer, with raised sword, gives the word of command seated on an ass which brays with outstretched neck at the other asses.
