Summary:
Print shows a naked Fox sitting despondently at the foot of a willow tree, from which a lyre hangs by a tricolour ribbon. His eyes are closed, his head is supported on his hand which holds a large book: 'The Beauties of St Ann's Hill'. He sits on the skin of an ass masquerading as a lion (with a lion's tail); before him are the apples of the Hesperides, rotten. His club, inscribed 'Whig Club', lies across a (blunted) arrow and a bow with a broken string. In the background Fame staggers from the temple which crowns Parnassus.
