Concerns the Middlesex election of April 13, 1769, in which Colonel Luttrell was returned over his opponent John Wilkes by the House of Commons, despite being outpolled by Wilkes by a wide margin.

Summary:

Print shows the figure of Colonel Luttrell standing, full length, in profile to the left, bareheaed and in the act of bowing as he says, "Devil burn me, but 296 is more than 1143 & I'll prove it upon this bit of paper"; he holds out a sheet of paper with a column of nonsensical figures show a majority of 8 for "Teague", and concluding "He has therefore a Right to Sit & Lye where he pleases."
