Notes:

One of thirty four sixteenth-century Italian drawings formerly mounted in a nineteenth-century album, the Cesare da Sesto Album.
According to Carminati (1994), the studies of Adam and Eve on verso resemble Raphael's Adam and Eve on the ceiling of the Stanza della Segnatura, 1508-11.
