Notes:
New York based sculptor and installation artist Soriano is known for his abstract works in brightly colored cast-resin and plastic as well as wall pieces combining spray-painted signs and symbols with steel cables and aluminum pipes. This work relates to his wall paintings that are able to be reproduced by following a set of instructions. The drawing combines ambiguous markings in a panoramic format, constructed of overlapping sheets of paper, balancing mutability and softness with straight, diagrammatic lines and simple geometrical shapes.
