Notes:
One of 25 drawings (see 2003.4:1-25) identified by Ray as illustrations for a 13 volume edition of La sainte bible, published in Paris by Lefèvre in 1828-1834, with engravings after designs by Achille Devéria; comparison with these published engravings, however, reveals little resemblance in design or composition to the 25 drawings comprising this set.
The 25 drawings are mounted together on two sheets of poster board, with 2003.4:1-12 mounted on sheet 1, and 2003.4:13-25 on sheet 2.
