Inscribed at lower right, in pen and brown ink, "Trecitellionio"; on verso, on urn, in pen and brown ink, "TI CLAVDIO / FORTVNATO / EPEPTO. FATIS / NIQVISSIMT/S" (probably intended as a correction to ...MVS); at lower left, in graphite, "4".
