Questionably attributed to Hogarth, signature standing for W. Hogarth, invt. et sculp. Signature occurs twice, at bottom left of image, and under the text, where it reads W H I E SULP.
This impression dated in pencil 1728, although George describes the events described in the print as occuring in 1732. There is another state of the print which is dated 1811.
