Summary:
Sketchbook containing portrait studies, sketches for theatrical costume designs, studies for illustrations, and drawings of other subjects, variously executed by Robertson in graphite, pen and ink, and watercolor; included are portraits of John Drew and actresses Sarah Bernhardt and Ada Rehan, along with a series of studies of Ms. Bernhardt's dog, Osman, with one finished sketch in ink identified by the artist as "Osman Bernhardt" and dated "Feb. 29th '88".
