Beati onesti(?) / senz'una mala"; throughout, labelling the figures, "V[irgilio]; D[ante]; M[arco Lombardo]"; at lower left, "dante ha sonno et s'insogna(?) / q[uell]e [e superscript] [or 1a [a superscript] ie. prima ?] 3 storie. et virg.o [o superscript] li dice / che hai che non ti puoi tenere / Dante racconta l'insogna (?)"; above the representation of Dante's visions, "andando insogna Dante p. 3 esempi di patienza contra(?) l'ira / nel tempio di jius [ie.
