Watermark: dove holding a leaf in its beak and three mounts in a circle, surmounted by a smaller, cross-topped circle enclosing the letters "CC" back to back below the letter "F".
One of ten preliminary sketches for illustrations to "Compositions from the Tragedies of Aeschylus" designed by John Flaxman, engraved by Thomas Piroli, Rome, 1793.
