Summary:
Drawing of the interior of the spacious dining room of a cafe, restaurant, or brothel(?), with widely spaced tables occupied by well dressed men and women who are shown conversing as they eat and drink, waited on by young male servers carrying pitchers; at far right, a woman sits behind a small desk or table, in conversation with a man who stands before her; on high shelves above are rows of large jars and jugs; an ornate mirror hangs on the back wall, and a server stands in a curtained doorway at right.
