The 1st unnumbered leaf at end contains "Fautes à corriger"; the 2nd & 3rd, which are conjugate and unsigned & printed on heavier paper than the rest of the book, contain "Errata"; the 2nd list appears to be a revised & extended form of the 1st.
Imperfect: lacks the first of the three errata leaves.
The translation may have been made by Herbert himself; it has been ascribed, probably wrongly, to Marin Mersenne.
First edition in Latin, Paris, 1624.
STC (2nd ed.) suggests Paris as place of publication.

Bound by "Lord Herbert's Binder" in red morocco similar to other presentation bindings of De veritate but without Herbert's crest.
