17th-century English brown calf, gold-tooled with the royal arms of England and 4 rampant lions, for Henry, Prince of Wales, son of James I, rebinding retailed the spine with the Tudor rose and portcullis emblems and Cranmer's initials. Edges in a leopard pattern. Reparied by Duprez Lahey, April 1926.
