Notes:
This drawing is one of several Steinberg made inspired by the novel Don Quixote, the most famous of which (for a 1967 New Yorker cover) shows Don Quixote on a horse fighting a giant pineapple with a lance. This sheet is typical of Steinberg's economic graphic style and sense of humor.
