Summary: 

Drawing shows an interior where a man and a woman in eighteenth century dress appear to be in conflict over a chest sitting on a stand with cabriole legs; the woman stands beside the chest, resting her arm on the lid as she covers the lock with her other hand, while the the man leans or lunges forward with a ring of keys in his hand, his mouth open and his other hand raised seemingly in protest.
