Summary: 

Drawing shows three men seated at a table beneath a tree in front of an inn, with a fourth man in an apron (the host?), standing behind the table with a tankard in his hand. In front of the table in the foreground, two small children, one of them carrying a pair of shoes, stand with their backs to the viewer, as they converse with one of the drinkers sitting in front at right.
