Notes:
One of 25 drawings (see 2003.4:1-25) identified by Ray as illustrations for a 13 volume edition of La sainte bible, published in Paris by Lefèvre in 1828-1834, with engravings after designs by Achille Devéria; however, it should be noted that comparison with the published engravings of 1828-1834 reveals little resemblance in design or composition to the 25 drawings comprising this set.
The 25 drawings are mounted together on two sheets of poster board, with 2003.4:1-12 mounted on sheet 1, and 2003.4:13-25 on sheet 2.
