Inscribed at upper left "p154." Mounted with a note inscribed in brown ink "Sketch of Major and Mrs Carmichael S[-]yth and M[-] Thackeray [----] daughter"/ "Drawn by Mr Thackeray." Inscribed in another hand in graphite at bottom of mount, "From Brookfield Correspondence".
