
The present drawing is placed on the same mount as another study by the same hand, both of which were cataloged as by Jacopo Pontormo while in the Fairfax Murray collection, and later published as Rosso Fiorentino by Bernard Berenson. It is more likely by a seventeenth-century hand.1
