Notes:
"One of two variant designs for a revival of Balikirev's 'Thamar,' first produced by Diaghilev in 1912 with Karsavina and Bolm in the leading parts. This revival was probably made for Serge Lifar. It is to be noted that the setting of the ballet has been moved to the battlements of the castle. In Diaghilev's version it is indoors."
