February 20, 1913-a date the English Theatre / will remember"; signed on drawing in pencil with initials and dated at lower left, "EGC 1912"; inscribed in pencil at upper right, "Dark* / Faint Grey* / on the yellow [illegible]"; at lower right, "all greenish [?] / yellow lights / [illegible]".
