This drawing is a perspective drop of a palace executed for the Scollay Square Theatre in Boston in 1900.

Inscribed in pen and black ink at lower right corner, "No 656 / Book DWP"; in pencil "1" and the number 4 in a circle; in pen and black ink, "25 00" ["00" in superscript]; on verso, stamped in blue ink, at center, "THE NEW YORK STUDIOS / 1004 TIMES B'LDG, - NEW YORK"; in pencil, along top edge, "Palace Drop Ansel Cook, Scollay Squ. Theater / (illegible) / Died aft 1915"; in black ink, at upper right, "SIEGLER", and the number 4 inscribed in a circle; in pencil, at center right, "1900" and the number 36 in a circle.
