Pen and black ink with a few passages at lower right in brown ink, gray wash, with hatching in point of brush and gray, on paper, laid down on heavy board; framing line in black ink.

Inscribed in the cartouche in the upper border, in a fine italic script, in brown ink, "Aqua cui preest Thetis, Terra cui imperat Opis".
