Folio 9 from a sketchbook, the flyleaf of which is inscribed Libro 24 and dated 24 October 1567, which was dismembererd in 1971.
Inscribed at upper right, in pen and brown ink, by the artist, "Molino d[i] M filippino et aqua Sta[ta superscript] ric. d[i] [symbol Saturn/Saturday] li. 10 d[i] gen. 1568"; beneath this, in black chalk, faint inscription, illegible; in lower right, in pen and brown ink, "34".
