Notes:

Professor Miles Chappel thinks the drawing, which looks like a study for a painting or tapestry of a court scene, is early 17th-century Florentine, close to Cigoli, and possibly by Cigoli himself. The collectors mark, Lugt 2729, is that of Sigismondo and Giovanni Coccapani.
Watermark: none.
