Inscribed at lower left, in pen and brown ink, "Titiano" (partially effaced); in lower right corner, in red chalk, "+" [a cross italicized].; on verso, in graphite, "veute Ch. A. Cardoni / Bruxelles. 25/6/1921 / coll. Calmann Cat. 1960".
