Signed and dated at lower right, in brown ink, "A. v. Velde f. / 1663". Inscribed on the verso, in brown ink; at upper left, "3"; at the lower left, "1076"; and next to this, in another hand, "C.J. Nieuwenhuys 1840".
Watermark: Countermark: Letters "LR" (similar to Heawood, no. 3073: England, late 17th century).
