Inscribed on the verso, in graphite: in the lower left corner, with dealer's code, "GVN / 2/o.S · OOC-VOX"; at center, "H / 1 / 14".
Watermark: Possibly Arms of Basel surmounted by a crown, fragment, crown only. (similar to Heawood, no. 1203: 1634).
