Signed at lower right center, in the same brown ink as the design, "J.D. Geyn in"; inscribed at lower left, in a later hand, in graphite, "No-19...". On verso, at upper left, in graphite, "No-125"; at lower left, in brown ink, "N 3.4/"; at lower right, "A/Z", and below, "Ba".
Watermark: Horn within a shield over letters "PN" (cf. Briquet 7867).
