Watermark: fleur-de-lis within a shield, surmounted by a crown (cf. Heawood 1721a).
This quick sketch is a first draft that was followed by the more developed study in the Fodor Collection in the Amsterdams Historisch Museum.

Inscription:

Inscribed at upper right in brown ink, "247"; at lower left, obliterated initials. On verso, at lower right, in brown ink, "Bloemaert".
