Inscription: 

Monogrammed on the flag of the smack (second vessel from the left margin), in brush and black ink, "LB". Inscribed on the verso, in graphite, at lower left, "2660-n", and in another hand, "N 742"; and at lower center, "uit het Cabinet van Bruinenburg(?)".
Watermark: Foolscap with seven points, over 4 and three balls (similar to Heawood, no. 2003: 1671-2), Cap with two balls, hair under cap.
