Inscribed at upper right in graphite, "May 1905"; at lower left in blue crayon, "Salle Oriente / Seville"; in graphite along bottom edge, "The background is a neutral colo[ur]...[illegible]...background are / in different colour...even[ing] dress...[illegible]...The majority are in ordinary evening dress with a shawl...to make bodice".
