Saint Aubin made twenty-five drawings on thirty-nine pages, and a full page drawing in black chalk and brown wash showing an exhibition at the Colisée, Paris, along with another drawing at the end of the booklet depicting a view of the gardens of the Tuileries. According to Frits Lugt, this catalogue was for the sale of the collection formed by the surgeon Sorbet. The Library also owns another sale catalogue (Acc. No. 1997.5) which the artist illustrated in a similar manner with diminutive sketches in the margins.
Initialed in black chalk by the artist, on the full page drawing showing the exhibition at the Colisée, and dated "Colisée 1776": on the sheet representing the gardens of Tuileries, initialed and dated "Tuileries 1776".
