Woodcut frontispiece depicting arms of Henry VIII (similar to that in McKerrow) with initials ID probably by John Day; includes Latin mottoes and poem beginning "Reioyse Englande, be gladde and merie."

Binding: 
Bound in contemporary brown calf, gold-tooled, with initials EP (Edward, prince of Wales) and his device of three feathers silver-tooled, edges gilt, by the King Edward and Queen Mary Binder; repaired by Duprez Lahey. 2 ties, missing. Previous paper pastedowns and manuscript spine reinforcements preserved in box.
