Binding: 
Brown calf, gilt-tooled, with the onlaid crowned arms of Queen Elizabeth (partly restored) insigned within the Garter, and with her initials and motto: Dieu et mon droit, 1590s. 2 side ties, missing.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

With added red ruling lines. Annotations: "Good Queen Bess's own book" (front pastedown). Note in Belle Greene's hand: Bridget Skipwith, daughter of Sir William Skipwith (sheriff of Lincolshire during reign of Henry VIII) was a maid of honor to Elizabeth.
