Dear Gentle Reader,
You are cordially invited to the Summer Salon at the Morgan Library & Museum for an evening of live music, artmaking, drinks, art, and literature in all of the Morgan’s gilded age glamour.
This season, explore Regency and Victorian-era exhibitions A Lively Mind: Jane Austen at 250 and Arresting Beauty: Julia Margaret Cameron, as well as contemporary works by Lisa Yuskavage and myriad treasures in A Celebration: Acquisitions in Honor of the Morgan’s Centennial. Fill your dance card with Country Dance New York (no prior experience or partner needed), embrace your inner artist with drop-in silhouette cutting, promenade in the garden, and enjoy tea and treats at the café.
Morgan After Hours is open to all attendees ages 21 and up. Dress code: summertime chic optional.
Yours Truly,
The Morgan
