Gallery Tour and Sketching with Walton Ford

Thursday, October 3, 2024 6–8 PM

Join artist Walton Ford for an intimate, behind-the-scenes, experiential program in his exhibition, Walton Ford: Birds and Beasts the Studio. Beginning with a gallery tour led by Ford, the evening provides an opportunity for close looking and creative expression alongside the artist with time dedicated to drawing in the galleries. Hear directly from Ford about his work and process, and be inspired to create your own sketches.

Artists of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. Paper and pencils will be provided. While attendees are welcome to bring their own materials, please note that ink, paint, markers, charcoal, chalk, pastels, and easels are not permitted. The gallery tour and sketching will last approximately one hour each.
