Celebrate actor Eddie Izzard’s and author Charles Dickens’ birthday with an exclusive late-night performance of Izzard’s acclaimed one-woman adaptation of Dickens’ classic Great Expectations, birthday cake, and a champagne toast to both artists, who were born exactly 150 years apart. Taking place in the extraordinary surroundings of the Morgan’s historic library, this special event will also include an intimate Q&A session with Eddie. WestBeth Entertainment will donate net proceeds to Covenant House, an organization serving homeless youth, and the Morgan.
The performance lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including one intermission. A Q&A will follow.
The event will take place in J. Pierpont Morgan’s Library. By entering the museum, you agree to our updated Visitor Guidelines and Policies. Masks are required for attending all public programs.
