The game board consists of a handcolored engraved sheet, mounted on green cardboard to be folded into six sections; embellished with 16 square and 8 elliptical illustrations, un-numbered, and arranged in two concentric tracks, depicting the adventures of the two comical figures, Wühlhuber and Heulmaier travelling through America. The circular image in the center shows a meeting with two other travellers: Heulmaier: "Mir scheint die Herren sin ooch uf der Reese - gehn se vielleicht nach Californichen?" Dr. Eisele: "Nein nach Deuschland zurück wo wider Alles beim Alten." The circle is surrounded with arrows pointing towards the two concentric tracks. The rules of the game are printed in the lower margins of the board. The game is played counter-clockwise.
The game requires a brass spinning arrow (lacking) which is fastened to a hole in the center of the board.
The board of library's copy now unfolded and matted (PML 85724.1) and slipcase (PML 85724.2) are stored separately in the same box.
